The town of Jičín lies 90 km to the north east of Prague. It has a population of 17 thousand inhabitans and is the natural centre of the area in terms of administration, culture, history, and tourism. Well preserved historical monuments, nearly ranging Prachov Rocks, as well as favourable position on a road from Prague to the Giant Mountains, made Jičín a significant tourist centre.
Jičín is also called "the town of schools". There are 5 nursery schools, 4 primary schools, 4 secondary schools, 1high school and some vocational schools. And just our school involves 3 of these educational of facilities.
