ELECTRONIC COMPUTER SYSTEMS

The four-year study programme Electronic computer systems prepares students for intermediate level technical positions in IT in field of computer technologies, maintenance and operation. The main field of study is focused on computer accesories and software. However, language and other generally educational subjects enable graduates to find employment in nontechnical field.

Fundamental subjects in the field of electronics are contained at the same rate as the other study programmes in electrical engineering. Learners are supported by specialized classrooms where they learn to programme one chip computers, learn how to use a keyboard effectivelly, display, chip connection, which enables them to operate e.g. engines, PC testing and networking. Another important subject is programme accessories. It is high level software divided into chapters: large data proccessing systems, application software designing software. Students commonly use MATHCAD as computation aids and work with multimedia and the Internet. Graduates will find employment wherever computer technology is used.

LIGHT-CURRENT ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

The study - programme Light - current engineering offers the graduates fundamental electronic summary so that they can adapt to developing conditions in the field of electronics.

The curriculum offers students general base acceptable for further studies. They learn more about radio and television transmission, satellite transmission and radio location. The subject of electrical measuring is a combination of more subjects. In computer science students learn how to use and work with programmes (Word, Excel, Mathcad, Workbench, Delphi). The students are able to work with graphic system Electronic Workbench, which is an electronic laboratory simulated on a computer. It is used for the analysis of electronic circuits.

The school-leavers find their job in companies dealing with construction and production of light-current electrical plant. Many of our students enlist in technical university

AUTOMATED TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIZING IN APPLIED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

The four-year study programme Automated technology prepares students for intermediate level technical positions in many fields.

The curriculum consists of generally educational subjects including a foreign language, economics and special subjects where the main part of study is automation, electronics and electric current measurement. A supporting subject is digital technic where students learn about logical circuits principally used within computers. An important subject in this field is automation of which the curriculum can be defined as mechanisation, automation, control and cybernetics. These subjects practically and theoretically train students in electronics applicable, not only in automation. With the practise students will be able to manage special product advertisement. Graduates of this programme may expect to find an employment as service men, control technicians, maintanance men, designers and diagnosticians.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SPECIALIZING IN COMPUTER GRAPHICS CAD,CAM

or

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SPECIALIZING IN COMPUTER GRAPHICS AND FOREIGN LANGUAGES

The students can study Mechanical Engineering focused on either "computer graphics - CAD, CAM" or "computer graphics and foreign languages". Our school prepares them for machinery production, transport, agriculture, food industry, services and other spheres, using foreign languages.

The students receive special knowledge of machinery, automation, electronics and computer technology as well as economy and management; they are also prepared for university studies. Necessary part of the studies is practice lessons. All the time of their studies the students work with computers: construction and technology practice in AutoCAD, CNC-APS application, use of PRO/Engineer, Solid Edge.

Basic subjects: Czech language and literature, foreign language (English or German), civic, history, mathematics, physics, chemistry, ecology, P.E.

Special subjects: technical drawing, mechanics, machines structure and operation, machinery technology, controlling and measuring, work with computer (Excel, MathCad, Pascal,…) economy, automation, electrotechnology, practice lessons.

Optional subjects: computer graphics (e.g. AutoCAD version 14, 2000 Power Pack, Mechanical Desktop 4, Power Pack and PRO/Engineer Wildfire 2, SolidEdge 16), computer simulation (various ways of machining material in CAM systems are demonstrated here, the students can watch an operational behaviour in different machines, technological operations, they can also learn to suggest a complete machining process), CNC programming (there is an available application programme CNC-APS which prepares programmes for CNC machines with two to five axis controlled at the same time. The students use CNC milling machine with Heidenhain system, where they can apply the devised programme in practice).

The school-leavers can be employed as constructers, technologists, development workers, master craftsmen, service technicians etc.

NOTICE for Mechanical Engineering specializing in computer graphics and foreign languages branch: The second foreign language is taught to extend technical texts in English and German language.
